On 7th July 2017, Kate tied the knot to her now husband Liam on picturesque National Trust grounds – their wedding photos blew us away when we first laid eyes on them and we just had to share them with you all!
Kate chose a bespoke Joyce Jackson wedding veil with lace edging which complimented her stunning lace gown; we love the clean look of her white dress, veil, and bouquet.
We hope you enjoy her story as much as we did (especially the proposal being featured in NME magazine!), with her day being captured perfectly by photographer Danny Birrell.
How did he pop the question?
Liam popped the question at Heaton Park, in Manchester at a Courteeners gig on 5th June 2015. It was a total shock, but luckily he told his friend who was there to record and take pictures, we were also featured in NME magazine!
When and where did you get married?
We got married at the beautiful Gibside Chapel on National Trust grounds in Gateshead on 7th July 2017. Our reception was at the incredibly chic Eslington Villa also in Gateshead.
Did you have colour scheme?
My theme was white, rose gold and blush, our centre pieces were a little bit of everything, candles, geo votive, succulents, and a sequin table runner. I loved how everything was too streamlined!
How did you fell when you said yes to the dress?
I saw my dress at a wedding fair, and I instantly knew that was the dress I wanted. Within a month I went to tried it on and that was it sold! My dress was a white Martina Liana gown with sleeves; I also had a Pronvious belt attached to the dress.
Where did you buy your Joyce Jackson veil?
My wedding veil was bought at Mia Sposa bridal boutique in Newcastle where my dress and belt were purchased.
What was the most favourite and memorable part of your day?
My favourite part was actually getting married, just before walking I felt so nervous but when I got to the alter I felt amazing being there getting married!
Do you have any advice for brides to be?
Enjoy and take it all in, it’s amazing!
